Castellum Reduced Their Meter Replacement Administration
"Metry improves flexibility and reduces the management of meter replacements and incorrect readings etc., which used to be part of everyday work back when we read meters manually."
What’s the biggest advantage or benefit with Metry?
– The flexibility and reduced management of meter replacements and incorrect readings etc., which used to be part of everyday work back when we read meters manually.
In what way has your energy monitoring work changed since you began using Metry?
– Above all, it has enabled our energy monitoring meetings to concentrate more on discussing measures and proposals than wondering if the bar charts we’re looking at are accurate.
And how did integration with your monitoring system go; does anything need to be improved?
– On the whole, it went well. I can’t think of any improvements right now.
What development opportunities do you see moving forward? What additional parameters beyond kWh and flows would you like to collect, or are there other fields of use for your statistics (new analyses) that you would like to explore?
– We’ve discussed waste management, but precisely how we would measure it or how the data could be monitored, I have no solution for right now. As ever more waste management companies include ‘My Pages’, perhaps we can in some way retrieve data from there; however, this depends on the companies making such information more lucid and available.
And we would also like to see an overall solution for submeters where we could use Metry or another collaborative partner to solve the entire submeter issue with everything from project planning to implementation and operation.
