At the beginning of 2016, when Majornas Energi och Miljökonsult AB (Memab) launched their energy monitoring system, they needed a simple, automated method of collecting energy statistics. Memab decided to engage Metry, and the collaboration has now been evaluated by Håkan Alnebratt, a certified energy expert at Memab.
Why did you choose to work with Metry, and what do you see as the biggest advantage?
“We see it as a flexible method for easy consumption data transfer in our operations monitoring system, and we’ve found out that we avoid messing with customer services at energy companies if we use Metry.”
Has Metry helped you gain customers you would otherwise not have gained?
“Yes, because Metry helps us maintain both a low price structure and a high level of service, we’ve succeeded in attracting customers we would not otherwise have gained.”
Is there anything specific that Metry has made simpler for you or your customers?
“Getting historic meter readings is so much faster now. Previously, either we or the customer had to enter or upload the history, but now it’s available immediately.”
What do you see as the next step or development opportunity in collaboration with Metry?
“Getting remote water meter readings would be fabulous. There’s a great need for this on the market.”
