ERAB Developed a New Energy Management System Based on Metry
Using Metry, ERAB has been able to reduce the lead time to a couple of minutes, which minimises the human resources required for start-up and enables all property owners, regardless of size, to save energy.
ERAB has developed a new energy monitoring system based on Metry’s back-end for energy meter readings, which means that all Metry users now have access to the new service via their Metry accounts.
– Most energy monitoring services require manual data processing and meter configuration. This means lead times are often weeks, or in some cases even months, before we can get started with energy monitoring. Now ERAB has been able to reduce the lead time to a couple of minutes, which minimises the human resources required for start-up and enables all property owners, regardless of size, to save energy,” says Bengt-Åke Engdahl, Energy Controller at ERAB, who was the initiator of the new service, ERAB Energy Monitoring.
– Offering services directly on APIs rather than building customer data storage is the future, says Magnus Hornef, Metry’s CEO. In the case of ERAB, we calculate that the time it took to build ERAB Energy Monitoring has reduced by 70% thanks to the ability to build it directly onto Metry’s back-end.
All property companies are able to connect to their submetering systems via Metry. This also applies to the ERAB’s Comprobo operating platform, which can easily be integrated into ERAB Energy Monitoring via Metry.
